GREENVILLE — Two cooperative but separate entities are working within Muhlenberg County to improve the community by providing an affordable faith-based option for recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
Safety Net, which provides an addiction referral service, along with Mission Teens, a non-profit organization, will be opening Mission Teen’s 15th residential care facility nationwide in the old Poplar Grove Rest Home location at 512 W. Campbell St. in Greenville in October.

Mission Teen board members Mike Chambers and Larry Perkins shake the hands of the founder of Mission Teens, Inc. the Rev. Jim Bracken recently at a reception at the new facility.
